In a frame of natural landscape, only 88 km. far from Córdoba capital and 750 km. far from Capital Federal it is Villa General Belgrano, framed by the mountain ranges of Sierras Grandes westward; of Sierras Chicas eastward and Los Molinos and Río Tercero’s reservoirs, northward and southward respectively.
Due to its Mediterranean climate, Villa General Belgrano allows its inhabitants and the tourists to enjoy 300 sunny days per year.
Villa General Belgrano saw, in the 30’s decade, the arrival of some German families that chose the sides of “El Sauce” brook to settle along with the ancient villagers.
With the latter arrival of other groups from central Europe (Swiss, Austrian, Hungarian, etc.) the Village became slowly a town that recreates the missed lands of its ancestors and took a particular shape regarding its customs, constructions, gastronomy, etc.
