Litoral
Chaco, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Formosa, Misiones, Santa Fe; it is the region of the large Rivers, the wet tropic, the red ground and the virgin jungle covered by giant trees, with extraordinary flora and fauna. Big waters –‘Iguazú’ in guaraní language- that the nature noisily overflow in one of the world’s wonders: the Iguazú Waterfalls.
A whole natural setting of exuberant beauty that extends over Iguazú National Park, the Saltos del Moconá (Moconá’s falls), Pilcomayo River National Park, El Palmar National Park, the Esteros del Iberá (Iberá’s stuaries) or the Chaco’s plain.
Nature exaltation where Misiones’ Jesuit ruins, that were declared Humanity’s Cultural Patrimony by UNESCO, are the living testimony of the Society of Jesus’ fruitful work.
