 San Martín de los Andes is located inside Lanín National Park and 1575 km. far from Buenos Aires city. San Martín de los Andes is the most important tourist centre of Neuquén province.  With Cerro Chapelco development, in 70’s decade, an explosive population expansion was produced along with the building development that makes today possible for the city to have all kind of tourist services (including an airport). Its commercial activity is varied, with an offer of specialized clothing, fishing, woodworks and handicrafts in chocolate.
